COVID19 -Policy 

Wanaka Backpackers Bothy is operating under the dynamic Covid framework. The NZ government has changed the requirements and you will not be asked to show a Vaccination pass after 11.59pm on the 3/4/22.

In the event, you test positive we have put in place self-isolation solutions that meet the government guidelines but are not in the hostel.

Our Mission

Whilst NZ transitions from a lockdown structure to a more open and free way of life we are fully supporting this move to help protect those that are vulnerable and the medical system that is already stretched in this part of the country. 

Advice for guests

  • Wash hands frequently and sanitize with the sanitizer provided

  • Wear a mask if practical

  • Seek immediate medical attention if you have any symptoms or feel unwell
